I have blogged about my friend, Flo before. She is my friend's 94 year old mother. I have never met a person who only had nice things to say about everyone...even those that really have not a lot of nice in them. I consider my self fortunate that she was my bridge partner for years. She moved to an assisted living community last Sept. We celebrated her 94th birthday on May 25th. I picked her up for her grandson's graduation party yesterday and she saw family she hadn't seen in almost a year. She was surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones in a way she hadn't been for a while.
She was called home to the Lord this morning and we will all miss Grandma Flo. When you can party your last day with those you love and lay your head down and have the angels come for you....I guess that is a good day.

Beautiful, if sad, post. Thank you and my condolences.
Hi Neva
Flo certainly sounded a very specail person, I'm sure by how you wrote about her she will be missed by many. As sad a post as this is your love for Flo shines through. I'm sure such a tribute would make her blush..
It was nice to see your name in my comments today.. I look forward to sharing posts again..

Sorry to hear about Flo. She was such a nice lady and I remember playing cards with her when I visited.
What a loving tribute to a grand lady. I'm glad she enjoyed the graduation party... what a way to go.
She was so lucky to have had you as her friend, and you only spoke highly of her. Don't you think people like that truly leave the world a better place. Lord, I want to be like that.
Oh dear, my condoleances dera Neva, I hope that Flo willl rest in peace,
Greetings from JoAnn/Holland
I hope Flo had the peaceful end she obviously deserved!
