We went apple picking while the kids were home from Beijing. What an event.....our new daughter in law is amazed by all the land that is available to walk on and where we went apple picking was very nice (battery ran out on the camera....errgghh!! so no shots of THAT!). But anytime you can get a son to peel apples is a good time to make pies!

It's always fun when the 'foreigners' can experience something new, Neva. Astrid and I are in Atlanta right now and this past Sunday was her first time ever to go buy a big pumpkin and then carve it. She loved the whole thing from beginning to end. It's not something they do in The Netherlands. :)
