I have been bowling for about 10 years. Finally, finally, I have become "BOWLER OF THE MONTH" ..This means that I have bowled a certain percentage over my average and/or have improved my average a certain percent. I have come close a few times but I finally made it...The "honor" means you get a reserved parking space for a whole month! Four times!!
The only downside of this is mine came in January and we did not bowl on the first Tuesday and the second Tuesday, no one told me until I had already parked wayyyyyyyyyy out. So, I only get the privilege for 2 weeks. *sigh*

Congratulations, but sorry about the loss of the parking space. What happens if you usually walk to the bowling alley...?

CONGRATULATIONS anyway, Neva! You can be very proud of that honor!!!! I LOVE bowling but it's been 10 years since I've done it seriously. I would have been ecstatic about such an honor!
That really is a big honor! Those that don't bowl don't realize that it is hard to be bowler of the month. Congratulations!
This has nothing to do with bowling (which I hate by the way). Happy Birthday from your sister!!! I had the perfect regift (as in crappy gift I received from a "thoughtful" friend for Christmas). Remember the ugly shoe that got passed around after the family reunion. I now have the PERFECT mate. I'm thinking Bob would like to have it for his birthday from the 3 of us. It too would land in a place of honor in his house. I shudder to think (after riding in that rolling ashtray he called a car)what his place looks like inside. Oh well what are friends for anyway?
