Ouch!

Apparently I can West African Dance but walking the dogs as they smell goose poop and make a beeline for it is beyond me. When we were taking our walk last night...very late as I worked a very LOONNG day.....Clancy and Simon decided to have a snack of the goose poop on the street. Unfortunately, my legs were in the way and down I went. Even though it is only my little finger I landed on, it was not designed to stop my body from falling...so.....yes it is broken.(There is a perk being married to an orthopeadic surgeon as he could tell me it was broken.....too be fair...so could I!)He does an absolutely fabulous job of taping it up though! Can I tell you how hard it is to type without your left little finger? Who knew I used it that much?

Oh, so sorry about that Neva.
But I guess having a doctor at home is not for everyone.
Hope you get better well.

OUCH! That hurts. Good think it happened AFTER the west african dance class, nobody can dance with a broken finger!!
Yes, we are back from our lovely month in Florida, thank you for sticking with my blog when I didn't have internet access to check up on everyone's blogs. We had a lovely time, I really needed that holiday. But I have come home to cold Canadian snow, and I'd like to scoot off back to the beach and the palm trees RIGHT NOW!
More Florida pictures to be posted in the next few days.

Ouch!! I feel your pain! Breaking the small pinky is not fun and it truly affects everything you try to do with that hand. (I have broken my share of fingers! lol)
Yep, there are days it makes you shake your head and wonder what you got yourself into sometimes when the dogs/puppies are the cause of some serious damage. Aw, but you gotta love them anyway! I know I still love my girl despite the amount of money I have spent on fixing up all the damages she had done to my house!

What a pain - literally.Does it hurt much? Good for Charly for fixing it up. How long does it take it to heal?

Is Simon going to start obediance school now? I guess goose poop is just too tempting.

When I had a dog, it was a small one. Less dangerous walks! Take care!

Hope your finger heals well. Sounds like you are getting the proper treatment from your doctor husband.
