So swiftly fly the years!
Once again, it's the schedule/routine we've grown to love: one week with
daughter Amy, a week at the cabin, followed by a week...

It's not easy to get old... and we get older and older. Much better if there is somone around, like you!
How great that there is a place like this for her to recover and have people around to distract. And how great to have you.
What a wonderful friend to have!!! I bet she has some amazing stories to share!!
I always give you big marks that you go that extra distance to eat lunch and check on your friend at the "what's it called now...nursing home, assisted living...?"
This blog makes me think of a wonderful book called "If I Live to Be 100" by Neenah Ellis. (Ellis produced a series on centenarians for NPR in the early 2000s.) She interviewed numerous centenarians, and asked them what they'd like to share most about their age and their experiences. I highly recommend it, and it's relatively short. It's too good to miss.
